Swivels

Our swivel is the special feature of all our assemblies. Many have been in constant use for over 30 years. The housings are high tensile aluminum, shafts are cadnium plated steel. Sealed ball bearings are incorporated to facilitate rotation. The Type “A” swivel with Par 38 Lampholder weighs 13 lbs. and is available with dual lamp options.

Windcone Frames
(Refer to drawing WC-81-10 Rev. 1)
Windcones are tig welded from aluminum tubing. The cone holds the windsock in an open position and bolts directly onto our Type “A” or Type “B” swivels. Shipped pre-assembled, including clevis section and stainless steel bolts.

Fabric Windsocks
We stock three sizes of windsocks in two styles. All windsocks are constructed with 4.5oz/sq.yd polyurethane coated nylon, reinforced at the mouth with double thickness of PVC coated nylon, and triple stitched to Canadian Government Approved Standards. Lace (cord) or Tyraps included.
Lace-on Style: Grommets reinforce the leading perimeter for lacing. For use with P. Wedge Windcone Frames.
Steel Ring Style: Special Order only.

Anchor Bolts for Poles

Type “C” Condulet Fitting
Constructed with 6061-T6 high strength cast aluminum. Cross section is robust in order to withstand severe bending stresses. It is recommended in the case of a slide fit to use anaerobic resin cement as well as bolting. Bottom opening slide fits over 2” O.D. pipe or into 3” I.D. pipe.

Extension Fitting (for Double Obstruction Marker)
This fitting allows the mounting of the double obstruction marker well above the windsock for good visibility and also prevents the windsock from becoming entangled.
